In the artistic field, the process of the emergence of a creative idea as well as  the experience of the encounter with a work of art remain unsolved mysteries. A detailed description of these processes through micro-phenomenological methods leads to a fine-grained exploration of the invisible dimensions of experience from which a creative idea arises, and to which the work of art connects us. This investigation enables us to understand better why art is so essential to the human being, and to elicit and accompany the creative and aesthetic processes in a more relevant and accurate way.
